Please be aware that failure to bring all of the required documentation will result in your disqualification from the selection process.

Step 1....

Check your e-mail to confirm the start time, date and location of your interview.

Please allow more than sufficient time to get to the interview reception.

If your interview is at Rowley Mile Racecourse Newmarket, you can download a map and travel instructions from: Rowley Mile Directions

Step 2....

Collect your references, you must allow sufficient time in advance of your interview to ensure your referees can complete the structured reference form and return it to you so you can bring it on the day of your interview.

You are required to provide us with details of two professional referees who are qualified to give a recent assessment of your clinical performance and experience relevant to this application.

It is your responsibility to contact your referees and ask them to complete a structured reference form. You must ensure your referee fully completes the form, including their signature and hospital / departmental stamp. The reference form is on our website at the following link: www.nhseducationeoe.nhs.uk/Recruitment

It is your responsibility to ensure that references are provided to the interview panel on the day of your interview. References must be brought on the day of your interview and handed to the lay member of the interview panel. References must be in a sealed A4 envelope clearly labelled with your name, applicant number, specialty and level. Failure to provide your references on the day of the interview, will result in your disqualification from the selection process.

Step 3....

Collect evidence of your foundation 2 competencies, using the standard forms. These forms require consultant signatures and therefore you must leave sufficient time to obtain this evidence. The evidence you bring regarding your foundation competencies must come from posts within the last three years. However, if you are a refugee doctor you will be treated as an individual case.

The following documents may be downloaded from the links below.

DOCUMENT A
You must complete this form if you are currently in a F2 post or if you have undertaken a foundation programme in the last three years. Therefore, if you have completed the foundation programme you must bring Document A and your certificate to the interview.

DOCUMENT B
You must complete and bring Document B to your interview if you have completed SHO FTSTA posts within the last 3 years and wish to use this as evidence of demonstrating foundation competencies.

DOCUMENT C
If you are bringing a portfolio of your Foundation Competencies you must complete Document C and bring it to the interview. This must be from posts held within the last three years.

DOCUMENT D
If you are supplying a checklist of competencies achieved within the last three years please complete Document D and bring it to interview. If the form is signed by an overseas consultant he/she must sign to say that they have read the MMC website and that you can demonstrate the competencies.

All evidence must be from posts held within the last three years.

If you have any questions regarding this please let me know. Please may I remind you that only Documents A-D will be accepted as evidence you have demonstrated foundation competency and you must bring this on the day of the interview.
